x-phile love.

1.“Ice” Season 1 episode 8- Mulder and Scully go to Arctic to investigate a wave of murdered doctors, Find inside ear critter that makes you paranoid, and angry, an emotion I am familiar with. There is also trapped-in-arctic-research-lab sexual tension.

2.“Eve” Season 1 episode 11- Nothing is creepier than a bunch of identical girls, especially if they are a murderous eugenics project.

3.“The Host” Season 2, episode 2 Sewer monster, enough said.

4.“War of the Corprophages”, Season 3, episode 12, human killing cockroaches and a hot bug scientist named Bambi who wants to do Mulder.

5.“Hell Money” Season 3, episode 19, the first episode of x-files I ever saw, with my super cool Asian cousins. Oh and it is about insider Chinese organ trading. I thought maybe the whole show was about Asian related things at the time.

6.“Home’ Season 4, episode 2, THE CREEPIEST episode ever, inbreed deformed babies and adults, and some baseball.

7.“Unruhe” Season 4, episode 4, Ice pick lobotomies and physic Polaroid pictures.

8.“Kaddish”- Season 4, episode 15. Crazy Jewish superstition, biblical zombies, and unholy tattoos.

9.“Small Potatoes” – Season 4, Episode 20, Ladies who have babies with tails and make sexy time with Luke Skywalker.

10.“Bad Blood” Season 5, episode 12, Um this episode has it all, funny vampires, scary vampires, pizza, sexy innuendos, and Luke Wilson (who is hot).

11.“Allsouls” Season 5, episode 17, this episode taught me the word, polydactyl, (many fingered). Biblical mythology that involves the devil claiming the ladies with lots of fingers.

12.“Dreamland 1 and 2- season 6, episode 4/5- it is two episodes I know but a good set. There is a time warp and Mulder switches bodies with a man in black. See Mulder dance in his panties watch a porno, and try to reverse time.

13.“Arcadia” season 6 episode 15, Mulder and Scully play house, shove it to the homeowners association, and catch a trash monster.

14.“Signs and wonders” season 7, episode 9 . Come one, come all to creepy snake religion, if not death by snake.

15.“Je Souhaite” Season 7, episode 21, A genie! Who grants wishes, this time for a real dumb pair of rednecks, and Mulder.

16.“Invocation” Season 8, episode 5, missing child returns after ten years, and is exactly the same, oh except that he is homicidal and perhaps alien.

17.“Sunshine Days” season 9, episode 18, Brady Bunch related murders? Agoraphobics? Yes please.

Disclaimer: Other x-philes may find this list appalling as I steered clear of most of the alien plot line episodes. So hard for me to pull them apart, and its hard to say the stand alone best. Just sayin’

hair art

I've been thinking a lot about hair art lately. Less along the lines of Anne Wilson and more about Victorian hair art, and hair collecting.

This wreath was made from 15 different people's hair!

Not sure it will ever make its way into my art but I do I think I should take a trip to Leila's hair museum.
